CPUT RE ADVERTISEMENT: DIRECTOR: INSTITUTIONAL PLANNING

  • Facilitate and co-ordinate the University's strategic planning and academic planning 
  • Effectively manage the HEMIS, business intelligence (Bl) , institutional research, and data analytics functions.
  • Draw up strategic planning and associated documents.
  • Support the HEQSF programme approval processes.
  • Maintain the University's Programme and Qualification Mix (PQM) database.
  • Liaise with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) and other stakeholders as required.
  • Provide reports to top management to support decision making 
  • Provide information to outside agencies (e.g . StatsSA, HSRC) as required.
  • Promote regional collaboration and represent the University on the planners' forum of the Cape Higher Education Consortium (CHEC)
  • Manage the human and financial resources of the Institutional Planning department.
